Ocean Explorers

Students and teachers at Lakewood High School analyze the different habitat types found within the Bolsa Chica Wetlands using ArcView GIS.  Focusing on birds, they determine how many bird species are found within the wetlands, distinguish between the migratory and native bird species, and identify which species they are most likely to encounter on trips to the wetlands.    more...
