Benthic habitat within the Channel Islands, California region. Habitat is delineated into 8 classes using two variables: substrate and depth. Substrate is categorized into: ‘hard’ and ‘soft’. Depth is categorized into four zones: 0-30m (euphotic zone), 30-100 m (upper continental shelf), 100-200 m (lower continental shelf), and >200 m (continental slope). Download data set (ZIP, 8.5 MB).
