Using data collected by volunteer naturalists aboard commercial whale watching vessels, Megan Donnelly and her students examine the types of marine mammals found within the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. They focus their efforts on gray whales exploring where they are found, when they are found there, and seasonal differences in their behavior.    more...
